Burlington Spin Basketball is a new youth basketball organization based in Burlington, Ontario, dedicated to providing high-quality basketball experiences for young athletes. We are now beginning the process of expanding into in-person programming, including rep teams, clinics, and camps. As we take this next step, we are looking for a driven and knowledgeable leader to help us establish and grow these new programs.

**Position Overview**:
The Vice President of Basketball Operations will play a key leadership role in the expansion of Burlington Spin Basketball’s in-person programs. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of all programming, ensuring smooth operations, and providing a top-tier basketball experience for participants.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the launch and management of rep teams, clinics, and camps.
- Ensure the club meets OBA requirements
- Handle club communication with the OBA
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure successful program growth.
- Identify ideal locations and facilities to host programming across Burlington.
- Build strong relationships within the basketball community, including athletes, coaches, trainers, and facility partners.
- Help recruit and manage qualified coaches and staff to support program execution.
- Drive player recruitment and bring a client base to the organization.
- Ensure that all programs run efficiently, safely, and professionally.

**Qualifications**:

- Deep knowledge of the basketball landscape in Burlington, including top training facilities, coaching talent, and player development trends.
- A proven network within the basketball community and the ability to attract athletes to Burlington Spin Basketball’s programs.
- Experience in basketball operations, coaching, or program management is strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Passion for youth basketball development and community engagement.

**Compensation**:
Payment for this position will only begin once programs are launched and generating registrations. This is an opportunity to build something great from the ground up and establish yourself as a key leader in Burlington’s growing basketball community.
