**Location: Montreal, Canada (Day 1 Office)**
**Fulltime**
Brief JD is as follows:
- Strong working knowledge of IT risks, cyber security, and computer operating software.
- Advanced understanding of security protocols, cryptography, and security.
- Experience implementing multi-factor authentication.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
- Research, design & advocate new technologies, architectures and security products that will support security requirements for the enterprise and its customers, Business partners and vendor.
- Work closely with enterprise architects, other functional area architects and specialists to ensure adequate security solutions are in place throughout all IT systems and platforms to mitigate identified risks sufficiently, and to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Strong Firewall knowledge (IPSEC VPN, UTM/IPS, DoS Policy, SSL inspection)
- Ability to manage high impact Priority 1 incidents.
- Strong Cloud Security/CASB/Web Proxy knowledge
- Cloud Solutions / on-prem Solutions
- Strong Remote Access technologies knowledge. Experience with managed devices-unmanaged devices/2FA/MFA solutions.
- Scripting skills
Essential:
- 10 years mínimally of Network Security experience / Firewall background
- 8 years mínimally experience working in large organizations
- Firewall/Web Proxy/Remote Access/Cloud experience
- Strong technical Documentation skills
- Network Diagrams/Knowledge based articles
- Articulate
- Pragmatic
- Self-Aware
Desirable:
- CISSP Certification
- CCNA / other industry standard security certifications
- Cloud migration experience
**Salary**: Up to $120.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Montreal, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
