**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:
The Psychologist provides psychological services (i.e., assessment, treatment, consultation) to the Family and Youth Clinic and Eating Disorder Program in an appropriate, efficient and cost-effective manner.

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**:

- Graduate from a CPA/APA Accredited Clinical Psychology Program
- Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario is mandatory. Autonomous practice is preferred.
- Authorized area of practice in Clinical Psychology is mandatory.
- Authorized client population in children, adolescents, family, and adults is preferred (some combination of authorization with the various populations listed above will be considered).
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in working with individuals with mental health and eating disorders.
- Five years of experience in clinical mental health preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical work with mental health disorders, including patients with severe and complex mental health and eating disorders.
- Experience working in a hospital setting.
- Demonstrated competency in delivering evidence-based treatment in both individual, family, and group formats to individuals with complex mental health and eating disorder.
- Experience in assessment of mental health disorders, learning/cognitive functioning, and eating disorders.
- Strong knowledge and experience working with vulnerable and marginalized clients and families.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team setting and to communicate and collaborate in an inter-professional team context are essential, including working collaboratively between hospital and community services.
- Strong knowledge, demonstrated ability, and experience in program development, evaluation, and research.
- Experience with community consultation is an asset.
- Willingness to work variable hours.
- Excellent communication skills, organizational ability, critical thinking, and goal-setting skills.

**WHO YOU ARE**:

- Conduct evidence-based, comprehensive diagnostic interviews, and write comprehensive diagnostic reports and treatment recommendations to third party stakeholders in a timely fashion.
- Administer and interpret standardized psychological assessment instruments for diagnostic and progress monitoring purposes.
- Effective communication skills are essential both for the purpose of explaining test results/diagnosis, etc. and for providing treatment.
- Sound knowledge of the principal theories of child development, family systems, best practice therapeutic treatment modalities aligned with diagnosis, and commitment to measurement-based quality care.
- Requisite academic preparation for the provision of individual, family, and group therapy programs, relevant clinical experience, and will have demonstrated the willingness to further develop such clinical skills on an ongoing basis.
- Demonstrated computer competency including familiarity with relevant software programs.
- Demonstrated commitment to a multi-disciplinary team treatment approach as demonstrated by a collaborative and collegial attitude.
- Willingness to share knowledge and expertise with other team members.
