The Facilities Manager - Kanawana Camp will be responsible for general maintenance and the coordination of work throughout the various seasons. This person will oversee the management, supervision, and planning of projects at the summer camp site.
Your Challenge
- Manage tools and vehicles (track repairs and maintenance).
- Ensure compliance with ACQ, AEQ, CNESST, and WHMIS standards in the facilities sector (daily building inspections, beach environment program, protective equipment, worksite safety, etc.).
- Manage wastewater and potable water systems (basic knowledge and follow-up with bio-lab results).
- Oversee and manage the seasonal opening and closing of the site.
- Participate in weekly meetings with facilities team leads and the coordinator.
- Plan and supervise projects (budgeting, bids, permits, financial tracking, etc.).
- Train, manage, and supervise the facilities team at Kanawana (scheduling and planning daily, weekly, monthly, and annual tasks).
- Manage trails and programming infrastructure (maintenance, annual inspections, etc.).
- Identify infrastructure maintenance needs.
- Execute projects identified in the master plan for annual work.
- Coordinate work with the Camp Director.
- Manage the daily maintenance and inspection of the site and facilities (according to current standards).
- Oversee the facilities budget for the camp.
- Plan and manage maintenance of the grounds and buildings according to operational needs (follow the operational calendar in collaboration with the entire camp team).
- Manage inventory related to facilities (inventory taking and tracking).
- Administer the procurement process for Kanawana facilities in collaboration with your immediate supervisor.
- Ensure site monitoring and safety in collaboration with the camp’s operational team and the Health, Safety, and Security Director.
- Perform any other related duties.

**To fulfill this mission, the Manager must**:

- Have experience in outdoor and remote site management.
- Have experience managing a team in a seasonal outdoor context.
- Have experience in forest management and outdoor site maintenance (an asset).
- Be bilingual, both spoken and written (French and English) (an asset).
- Have experience in a summer camp setting (an asset).
- Have no criminal record related to the role.
