**About Academy**

**Job Purpose**

The Driver is responsible for safely transporting materials in a safe and timely manner while representing the company off site.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Complete deliveries while operating company equipment in a safe and professional manner at all times
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials as required
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections as per Schedule 1 for NSC - National Safety Code requirements
- Performing all assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner, while in compliance with all laws and transportation regulations
- Providing accurate and timely product deliveries to scheduled clients and customers, unloading product to the assigned area as directed by the customer/client
- Complete Drivers Daily Log and submit at the end of each shift
- Fuel and maintain detailed records of fuel costs and daily Kilometers
- Ensure company vehicle is kept clean and in good condition and up to date with service requirements
- Wearing of required company PPE
- Advise Manger of all incidents and injuries immediately

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- Valid Class 1 driver’s license with Air Brakes
- Experience in hauling pipe, valves, wide loads and on site experience
- A clean driver’s abstract
- CSTS - 09
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
- 2+ years of driving experience

**Skills**:

- Work independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
- The ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs repetitively throughout a workday
- Strong communication skills
