**About this role**:
We are recruiting for a** HR Advisor focused on Talent Acquisition, **to join our corporate Human Resources team in **Burnaby, BC.** Here's how your role will strengthen our team.

**HR Advisor responsibilities**:

- Full cycle recruitment for all roles as required to include defining needs, advertising, sourcing, screening, interviewing and conducting references.
- Develop working relationships with external contacts (schools, industry associations, etc) and attend networking events
- Management of Applicant Tracking System and recruitment information and metrics
- Contract creation and negotiation
- Onboard all nonunion employees through the HR Onboarding program and make updates to the program as required
- General employee relations as required
- Other duties as required as a member of the HR Team

**Your experience and skills**:

- 3+ years' experience in an HR role focused on talent acquisition
- Human Resources diploma or degree or relevant experience
- Knowledge of BC Employment Standards Act and Human Rights Code
- Confident dealing with people at all levels of the organization
- Effective written and verbal communicator
- Working knowledge of MS Office 365 and experience using an Applicant Tracking System and/or HRIS system
- Adaptable with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proven customer service skills, professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Looking for someone with strong people skills, who is dedicated and driven.

**Salary range**: $70,000-$85,000 per year plus a competitive total compensation package. **_Actual salary will be commensurate with experience, skills and overall match to the position offered. _Let's chat throughout the hiring process and determine the best fit._
