Unregulated Care Provider- Night Shift

- **Qualifications**:_
- Previous employment in a health care/hospitality setting an asset.
- Demonstrated understanding of/empathy for the needs of seniors.
- Good physical and mental health
- Certified in CPR and First Aid
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to update and keep current their knowledge of changing regulations, practices and procedures.
- PSW certification, DSW or equivalent experience preferred
- Auditory and visual skills, and the ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, reach, and push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
- _
- Administers/assists/observes medications and treatments for each resident using the medication administration record (MAR) in accordance with care plans, policies and procedures.
- Successful completion of initial and annual medication administration training and sign off by the DOC/designate.
- Notifies the Director of Care of any resident concerns.
- Medication counts
- Responsible for safekeeping of drug and narcotic keys.
- Assist with resident admissions and discharges when required
**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
