**A DAY IN THE LIFE**
- Perform maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems in oil and gas production and processing facilities.
- Work with transmitters, control valves, actuators, analyzers, PLCs, and field instrumentation.
- Support commissioning and start-up of new or upgraded facilities.
- Read and interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, and technical manuals.
- Collaborate with electricians, operators, and other trades to maintain safe, reliable operations.
- Maintain accurate records and follow all PTW safety and quality procedures.
**EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**
- Must possess maintenance and industrial oil field instrumentation experience.
- Must be a certified Journeyman Instrumentation Technician
- Must be able to take initiative, work independently as well as in a team.
- Must be reliable and dependable (i.e.: punctual and ready to work).
- Commissioning and start up experience is an asset
- Excellent communication skills.
- A demonstrated ability to work safely.
- Must be local to the area or within driving distance
**TICKETS REQUIREMENTS**
- Must have applicable safety tickets (i.e. CSTS-09, H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Fall Arrest, WHMIS 2015)
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
