Hags and Hill Construction, is a general contracting company offering construction services for the residential and commercial markets. We service the Simcoe/Muskoka region. We are looking for a skilled Tile Setter/Installer to join our growing team Worksites are across Simcoe County and Muskoka. We offer competitive compensation based on previous applicable experience.

**TILE SETTER / TILE INSTALLER**

**RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING**:

- Ability to accurately read and measure material for cutting and installation
- Prepare, measure and mark surface to be covered
- Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets
- Align and straighten tile using levels, squares, and straightedges
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
- Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
- Install tile strips
- Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs
- Mix, lay and polish terra surfaces
- Cut, polish, and install marble and granite
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
- Installation of Vanity Cabinets/Bathroom features/fixtures, baseboard, quarter round, closet shelves and slab/sliding doors.
- Availability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, occasional overtime.

**REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS**:

- Attention to detail and passion for quality work
- Coordinate and communicate with others to support effectively in order to complete the required work
- Own Vehicle, Class G License, Own CSA Type II Hard Hat and Green Patch Safety Shoes
- 1-3 years of Tile Installation or Setting experience minimum is required
