We are currently seeking a person to fill the **Inside Sales Specialist - Datacom **in our **Winnipeg **location.

**Responsibilities**:

- In this role, you will sell a diverse range of Datcom Structured Cabling Solutions and Products servicing primarily the commercial construction market.
- Provide superior customer service by delivering products and services that exceed customer expectations.
- Process orders to completion and expedites delivery whenever necessary.
- Liaise with outside sales force and other employees in the execution of their functions.
- Provide sales support for field sales representatives.
- Ensure outside sales are provided with up-to-date information and developments regarding common customer accounts.
- Actively participate and develop new accounts, build, and generate quotations, manage customer inquiries, manage small, medium Datacom projects.
- Work effectively in a team environment collaborating with Outside Sales and Datacom Management on quotation strategies, project management, and customer service.
- Build strong customer relationships, driving value and loyalty.
- Actively engage Nedco resources and personnel regularly to provide a complete customer solution in order to capitalize on opportunities and full capabilities of Nedco.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- BA or Post-Secondary preferred.
- 1-2 years experience sales/sales admin, preferably in Distribution, Datacom/Electrical.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and build customer relationships
- Product and industry knowledge, Datacom and or Electrical
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A confident and determined approach
- Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection
- Self-motivation and drive
- Experience working with Datacom / Electrical Contractors.
- Possess strong organizational skill set and ability to consistently re-prioritize based on new internal and external requests and opportunities.
- Work effectively with others in a team-based environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems.
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Computer proficiency in a Windows environment, specifically Excel.
