Prairie Steel Products has the following career opportunity in Clavet, SK **(15km east of Saskatoon)**: Flat Deck Truck Driver - Class 1A.

As a Flat Deck Truck Driver - Class 1A, you will be responsible for delivering Culverts and Steel Building Components directly to our customers. Your focus will be on ensuring that the products are delivered on time, accurately, and in good condition. The successful team member will be required to perform and complete necessary driver requirements such as pre and post trip inspections, e-log books, etc. The driver will operate a truck and 53’ tri-axle trailer.

**This role requires**:

- Valid Class 1A Saskatchewan Driver’s License
- 3+ years of driving experience
- Grade 12 diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Continually ensuring vehicle is clean, organized, and free of hazardous conditions
- Actively participating in safety and maintenance programs
- Previous experience operating a knuckle boom is an asset
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be highly organized and able to manage time effectively
- Positive professional attitude
- Punctual with solid attendance record
- Experience with Over-Dimension loads is an asset

Most days this job requires leaving early in the morning and returning home late in the afternoon or early evening. There are rarely overnight loads or weekend loads - allowing for a positive work-life balance that is not always possible in the truck-driving profession. Our drivers are in direct contact with our valued customers, and we take pride in doing our best to deliver excellent products in a professional manner.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $59,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
