Carpenter Helper

We are looking to hire full-time carpenters for our team at Steamatic of PEI. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a **good work ethic and wants the opportunity to earn significant overtime pay after-hours calls.**

Steamatic PEI is a full-service Restoration Contractor specializing in all emergency services such as water, fire, mold and disaster recovery services.

**Description**:
Steamatic PEI is searching for a full-time carpenters to join our Stratford office. The responsibilities of this position would include but not limited to: providing professional services in residential homes and commercial properties. Carpenters will be responsible for all aspects of general renovations.

General duties of this position would include:

- Operating Various hand power tools
- Siding repairs
- Drywall installation/ drywall finishing
- Floor installation
- Doors & windows installation
- Painting and mudding walls and other surfaces etc.
- Framing
- Helping Lead carpenter in performing other job related tasks

Requirements for this position would include:

- Experience within the construction field is considered an asset.
- Strong work ethic with desire to be part of a team.
- Must have valid driver's license.

**Pay is $18-$20/hr depending on experience PLUS overtime pay**

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week
