We are currently looking to hire a pharmacy assistant to become a dynamic member of our pharmacy team.

Applicants must have the ability to independently and as part of a team, have computer and technology familiarity and skills and the ability to prioritize tasks, and have excellent communication skills.

Hours: 16-24 hours per week

WEEKDAYS ONLY NO WEEKENDS OR NIGHT SHIFTS

Part time Position

**Standard Requirements include**:
**- Proficient in operating system (Fillware)**:

- regularly performing data entry, filling, and billing, etc... **1 year experience an asset**

**.Lives in ontario**

**.Fluent in english**

**Excellent customer service**

Standard Workflow Requirements:

- Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent patient and prescription information
- Taking care of the fridge temperature log ensuring everything is up to date and functional
- Clerical duties including completing all records, documentation and patient or third party billings/charges, preparing receipts, invoices, letters, memos and general filling
- Fill prescriptions, including compliance packages.
- Accurate dispensing prescription medications (with the appropriate documentation, ie: expiry, din matching, etc..)
- Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems,
- Performing expiry checks of all items in the pharmacy
- Answer phones and general OTC inquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary
- Handling customer prescription pick up
- Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required with the Pharmacy Point of Sale System
- Keeping a safe, comfortable and clean work environment (sanitization of all equipment/cleaning, etc..)
- Possess a positive team spirit in a fast paced, high pressure environment
- Maintaining confidentiality and professional standards while delivering superior customer service
- Organizing medication delivery with third party delivery company
- Performing all other duties as assigned.
