**Medical Aesthetician / Laser Technician (Independent Contractor)**

**Job Summary**:
Skin Co Aesthetics is a luxury, nurse-led skin and laser clinic in Chilliwack. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated **Medical Aesthetician / Laser Technician** to join our team as an **independent contractor**. This role is ideal for someone passionate about advanced skin health, results-driven treatments, and luxury client care.

You will be responsible for performing treatments such as **Aerolase Neo Elite laser rejuvenation, HydraFacial, Chemical peels, SkinPen Microneedling, Custom facials, and more**. Strong retail skills are essential, as recommending and selling medical-grade skincare is a key part of our client experience and brand standards.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Perform advanced laser treatments with the **Aerolase Neo Elite**:

- Deliver advanced skin services including**:HydraFacial, SkinPen Microneedling, chemical peels, and custom facials**:

- Conduct in-depth skin consultations and create customized treatment plans
- Provide clear education on treatment procedures, expected outcomes, and aftercare
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, treatment notes, and progress updates
- Follow strict sanitation and safety protocols; maintain a clean and organized treatment space
- Operate and manage your own social media platform (linked under our brand umbrella) to assist in building your clientele
- Recommend and promote medical-grade skincare for at-home use to support long-term client results
- Promote and sell retail products, packages, and services
- Stay up to date with industry advancements, new technologies, and luxury treatment trends
- Hold and maintain your own valid business license
- Ensure compliance with all provincial and municipal licensing requirements
- Accept full responsibility for meeting all regulatory, safety, and professional standards related to your services

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Certification or diploma in Medical Aesthetics and/or laser technology
- Strong technical ability in advanced skin treatments and facial protocols
- Exceptional customer service skills and professional bedside manner
- Proven **retail sales skills**, with the ability to confidently recommend and sell medical-grade skincare
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict clinical protocols
- Self-motivated, reliable, and committed to professional growth

**Compensation & Benefits**:
This is a **part-time contractor role**. You will:
