**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Coordinate and schedule shipments using transportation management systems and software such as AVAAL.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain communication with drivers, suppliers, and customers to provide updates on freight status.
- Perform data entry tasks related to shipment tracking and documentation.
- Analyze shipping data to identify trends, optimize routes, and improve service levels.
- Handle multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with supply chain partners, including third-party logistics (3PL) providers, to streamline operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations throughout the dispatch process.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in dispatching or logistics coordination is preferred.
- Familiarity with transportation management systems and supply chain processes is essential.
- Proficient in data entry with strong typing skills for accurate documentation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.
- Strong analytical skills to assess data effectively for decision-making purposes.
- Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 10 per week
