**Description**

**Responsibilities**
- Evaluate, plan, and execute data migration strategies for HR systems.
- Coordinate with HR teams to understand data requirements and business processes.
- Perform data mapping and transformation to meet system specifications.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure data integrity before and after migration.
- Document migration processes and create user manuals for reference.
- Provide training and support to staff on new HR systems post-migration.
- Monitor the performance of the migration process and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance data management practices.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Technology, or a relevant field (B.Com., B.Tech., M.Tech., or equivalent).
- Minimum 6 years of experience in data migration, specifically within HR systems.
- Strong understanding of data management and migration tools.
- Proficient in data analysis and manipulation techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Familiarity with public sector HR practices is a plus.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Calgary, AB T2P 2V6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
