.5 CONT Inclusion Support - Stride Program (Block A, B)

**Position Description**:
The Stride program offers a variety of supports for at-promise students at various points in their schooling. The IES teacher/case manager position works with students both individually and as a group to further their functional academics and personal goals. This position supports an inclusive approach by working with colleagues, district specialists and various outside agencies to best support students in their education. The majority of our STRIDE students have complex needs and are working towards a school completion certificate.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Training in CPI or equivalent

Experience with the development and implementation of IEP’s

Familiarity with technology-based strategies in classroom instruction and with software that supports students identified with special needs

Experience differentiating instruction and adapting curriculum to meet the needs of diverse learners

Education and experience working at the Secondary level
