**Position Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the IT department, including supervising staff and consultants, to ensure smooth functioning.
- Develop, implement, and monitor IT policies and procedures to ensure our IT infrastructure's security, integrity, and efficiency.
- Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations to meet organizational objectives.
- Manage IT projects and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Provide technical support to staff and troubleshoot hardware and software issues promptly and effectively.
- Stay current with technological advances, assess their impact on the organization, and recommend the adoption of new technologies.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to understand their IT needs and requirements.
- Communicate IT policies, initiatives, and updates effectively to ensure alignment and support across the organization.
- Other duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or College degree/diploma in computer science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience preferred with a strong ability to work with modern and legacy technologies and troubleshoot older systems effectively.
- Experience working with an MSP (Managed Service Provider) to support IT infrastructure and operations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Experience with IT project management and budgeting.
- Willingness to travel within Ontario and Quebec as needed for on-site support and project work.
