In the role of Civil CAD Technician, we'll count on you to:
- Prepare general arrangement and detailed drawings, layouts & sketches, maps, and other graphical representations of engineering designs for roadways, grading, drainage, utilities with occasional guidance from others.
- Preparation and revision of accurate Civil 3D/OpenRoads models and extraction of 2D drawings as required.
- Prepare quantity estimates and design calculations.
- Perform self-check and company QA procedures on all deliverables.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- College Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related program is preferred
- CET Designation is preferred
- Proficiency using Civil 3D and Bentley Openroads
- Strong conceptual, organizational, problem solving, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, under broad direction from a Project Engineer or Project Manager on various planning and design projects
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
**Required Qualifications**
- Technically qualified with 3D design software and document management infrastructure
- Competency of Microsoft Office products and communication tools
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits are essential
- Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts
