**Job Summary**
KoKo-Lu Painting Cafe is a vibrant, family-friendly art studio that combines paint-your-own-pottery and terrarium building inside a cozy atmosphere. We're all about creating memorable experiences for families, schools, and community groups. We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, reliable person to join our team.

In this role you will be the first point of contact for customers - welcoming them, helping them choose pottery pieces, terrarium items, and explaining how the process works. You'll also ensure the space remains clean, organized and inviting.

**Responsibilities**:

- Must be dependable
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Recommend products based on customers' preferences
- Process transactions accurately using a Point of Sale (POS) system
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Ability to host, set and clean up after events.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products
- Ability to work alone and well with others
- Handle returns and exchanges

**Experience**:

- Art experience / artistic skills is preferred but not required
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required
- Previous experience operating a POS system is preferred but not required - training can be provided
- Strong communication skills are a must
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately
