Norwood Foundry Limited is a leading quality castings and waterworks company operating out of Nisku, AB - just south of Edmonton. We are celebrating our 117th anniversary this year and we are so excited to keep growing and expanding our team. We are currently hiring a Labourer for a full-time, permanent position

This is a Permanent Full-Time position, hours are **Monday to Friday 5:30AM to 2:00PM**.

Starting wage is at $24.00/hr.

General Tasks Include:

- Following gauge temperature readings and product criteria to cast molds.
- Clean and smooth molds, cores, and core boxes, and repair surface imperfections.
- Spot, fit and assemble various mold components to close tolerance using hand and power tools.
- Position cores into sections of molds and reassemble molds for pouring.
- Tend machines that bond cope and drag together to form completed shell molds.
- Cut spouts, runner holes, and sprue holes into molds.
- Any other duties assigned by the business.

**Requirements**:

- Not required but experience working in a Foundry is an asset.
- Not required but experience in a Molding/Core Maker role is an asset.
- Working knowledge of ISO9001:2015 standards is an asset.
- Good physical condition, capable of repetitive lifting and physical labor.
- Able to work in an environment that may include exposure to dust, moving mechanical parts and noise.
- Strong skills in measurements and mechanical aptitude
- Strong attention to detail and one who takes pride in their work.
- Odd jobs as required to meet the needs of he business.
