Pinchin Environmental is currently seeking a Junior Risk Assessor to join the Ontario Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation Group as an Environmental Risk Assessment (ERA) practitioner.

Under the guidance and mentorship of the Team Leader, the Junior Risk Assessor will assist in the preparation of human health and ecological risk assessments that include data gap analysis, site history summaries, risk modeling and risk assessment report preparation.

**A Day in the life of a Project Technologist at Pinchin**:
Travel to various client sites may occasionally be required as well as travel between offices for team and client meetings. It will be necessary to work with staff at different offices and in different service lines, so it is important that the Junior Risk Assessor be able to communicate effectively and maintain a positive and cooperative environment.

**What you bring to the Pinchin team**:

- Hold a Degree in Biological Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Toxicology, or similar
- Have a minimum 2 to 3 years of experience conducting Phase One and Phase Two environmental site assessments
- Have some experience conducting soil vapour intrusion assessments
- Be familiar with Ontario Regulation 153/04, at a minimum. An understanding of other applicable Provincial or Federal environmental regulations is an asset
- Some practical experience in human or ecological toxicology such as having performed bioassays, participated in exposure assessments, preparing toxicological profiles etc. is a benefit, but not a requirement
- Thrive in a team environment
- Be detail-oriented
- Possess intermediate to advanced level skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Demonstrate skilled communication and the ability to work as part of a team
- Possess a valid driver’s license, insurance & personal vehicle (work related travel expenses will be compensated)
