On Side Restoration’s HR function is growing and it’s an exciting to join our team We are seeking an exceptionally organized Human Resources Generalist (HRG) for our Eastern Region. The HRG will provide end to end HR support to managers and employees in the province of Ontario, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland. As an expert in all things Human Resources, a typical day could include guiding employees through HR policy and procedures, supporting Management with employee relations and developing best in class initiatives or programs.

**The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for**:

- Provide coaching and professional human resources advice to our managers and employees aligned with the laws, regulations, and company values
- Support an environment of open communication, exceptional teamwork and innovation
- Understand legal and regulatory requirements along with provincial regulations
- Conduct investigations and support managers with employee relations, performance management and other issues
- Supports the HR cycle including performance reviews, compensation, talent management and engagement
- Active member of the management committees for designated groups
- Co-develop training and information sessions for managers and / or employees
- Contribute to HR process improvement
- Lead or participate in national/strategic projects and deploy corporate initiatives
- Collaborates with the entire HR team on a daily basis

**What you bring**:

- Three to five years HRG experience, in a multi-location environment
- Post secondary education in HR (Bachelors or Diploma) preferred
- CPHR designation is an asset (or working towards completion)
- Knowledge of Ontario employment law and provincial regulations
- Knowledge of RBQ and CCQ policies
- Fluency in speaking/reading/writing both French and English (This position interacts on a regular basis with English-speaking clients and colleagues across the country.)
- Discretion with highly confidential, personal, and sensitive information.
- Ability to think critically, challenge the status quo and a continuous learning mindset
- Demonstrated ability to see the big picture and provide strategic advice and input
- Ability to evolve in a multi-site, matrix organization that is constantly evolving
- Strong communication with the ability to influence and relate with all hierarchical levels
- Manage competing high priority tasks, under pressure while meeting deadlines
- Experienced and knowledgeable with Microsoft Suite
