Caregiver for Woman with a Disability

Victoria, Canada Private Home Support Full time

Work as a caregiver for an articulate woman in her 40's with physical disabilities. She lives in her own condo in Oak Bay, enjoys family time, ethnic foods and art. She is a devoted mom to a six year-old who lives with her part-time.

Duties include lifting transfers to and from her motorized wheelchair, accompanying her on errands, appointments and activities, meal prep, driving her ramp-equipped minivan, and keeping her home and belongings clean and tidy.

Five days per week, Mon - Fri, 9 am - 5 pm. Standard stat pay, vacation pay, sick days. $25/hr to start.

Only those who are currently eligible to work in Canada, have a valid work permit, permanent residency or are a Canadian citizen will be considered. Applicants must be physically fit to assist client with transfers (60 lbs). A class 5 driver’s license is required. Please include a personalized cover letter.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
