**DISPATCHER**

We are currently seeking an ambitious, multi-faceted, well-rounded, organized individual for the position of Dispatcher to join our team at our Head Office in Edmonton.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Schedule and Dispatch drivers to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications or needs
- Arrange for necessary repairs in order to restore service and schedules
- Relay work orders, messages, and information to and from drivers and supervisors
- Maintain Customer Relationships
- Prepare daily work orders
- Organize bill of ladings and prepare for invoicing
- Time sheet approval
- Work closely with the HR, Safety and Transportation team to ensure driver compliance and proper behavior standards are being met
- Knowledge of Permitting
- **This is a fast-paced position, which could have overtime and weekend work as required. **_This position will be 80% office work, and 20% field work, approximately**. **_**A person in this position can expect to answer upwards of 50 calls a day.**_

**Skills and Proficiency**
- Minimum of 3 years of Oilfield, Highway Hauling and Pipe Hauling Dispatch experience in the trucking industry is required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to identify problems and troubleshoot problems in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized and able to multi-task
- Strong sense of self-motivation to do a good job
- Experience with Axon Software would be an asset

Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, the Dispatcher is responsible for managing and orchestrating every aspect of haul moves, insure third parties are coordinated with no gaps, find synergies between various moves and act as a central point of contact/communication between all parties involved and keep the client fully informed of status.
