Laser Operator

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate laser cutting machines to perform precise cuts on metal materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and production requirements.
- Utilize plasma cutting techniques as needed for various projects.
- Assemble fabricated components using mechanical knowledge and basic math skills.
- Conduct routine maintenance on laser equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Operate additional machinery such as press brake machines, CNC equipment, and lathes when required.
- Safely operate cranes for moving heavy materials within the manufacturing area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety protocols.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in operating laser cutting machines or similar equipment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
- Familiarity with plasma cutting, CNC operations, press brake machines, and lathe operation is a plus.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
