Experienced Automotive Body Shop Manager required:
We are looking for a talented Body Shop Manager to join our growing company, to ensure that customer vehicles are repaired to our standards of excellence while accommodating customer needs.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Appraise vehicle repair needs and give accurate quotes to customers
- Conducts pre and post vehicle diagnostic scanning; where required
- Explain damage assessments and repairs to customers
- Partners with the Management Team to ensure that operations are compliant with all provincial and national regulatory standards pertaining to health and safety, quality control and employment standards;
- Control inventory of paints and materials. Places orders for supplies as required.
- Comply with all Health and Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Manage and motivate Body Shop Employees
- Expected to have a positive attitude and promote a healthy work environment.
- Drives the process of ensuring all files are closed within 24 hours of vehicle delivery;
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Self-Motivated
- Experienced in a body shop setting
- Exceptional customer service
- Organized and process oriented
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous automotive Body Shop Management experience required
- Good sense of diplomacy, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated time management, problem solving, critical thinking and sound judgement skills
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Good phone skills
- Profit / Money motivated
- Knows how to fix vehicles correctly the first time
- Able to read computer dimension print outs
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment. Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
**Salary**: $80,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
