**Overview**

**Duties**
- Safely operate trucks and heavy equipment to transport freight to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and cargo delivered.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transportation.
- Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on vehicles as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and traffic laws while on the road.

**Qualifications**
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred.
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and logistics operations.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Monday to Friday
