This position reports to the Desktop Support Manager. Responsibilities: Aptness for technical problem solving, researching technical issues, and implementing timely solutions while assessing a variety of variables in situations where only limited options exist. Install and configure hardware and software components to ensure stability and alignment with set parameters. Strong ability to clearly and succinctly document technical process flows and architectures with detailed technical specifications Maintain studio-hosted end user desktops ensuring access, network connectivity and peripherals with routine maintenance and checkups. Demonstrated the ability to balance the ownership of an incident before escalating in order to facilitate a quick resolution. Researching and recommending innovative IT solutions that increase organizational effectiveness or automate repeated tasks Ensure that work is carried out within agreed service levels and following department guidelines Maintain assets databases for hardware and software additions, an asset to staff allocations and identify locations and states of assets. Ensure staffing change procedures and policies are maintained and completed in accordance with department policies. 2 years experience with some if not all of the following: GSuite, RDP, VPN, MFA, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Manage Engine Service Desk Plus, ADUC Excellent ticket system skills including proper note-taking, following predetermined tasks and procedures, and a strong ability to prioritize tasks according to business needs Work with colleagues to ensure they have the appropriate information and knowledge at hand and kindly offer quick assistance when required. Troubleshoot production issues by identifying the root cause, and implementing sound technical resolutions Embraces learning and development to improve technical skills Willing to take a customer focused, holistic approach to delivering support and being able to deliver technical information in a simplified manner to non-technical users. Ability to build strong relationships across departments Work on a hybrid location schedule, working from the office at least 2 times a week. Skills and Qualifications: 3+ Years of experience in Desktop Support Excellent Customer Service in Face-to-Face, telephone or Electronic Interaction with Clients Good Language and Communications Skills Experience troubleshooting a basic network, software, printing related issues Good Understanding of Computer Support and Troubleshooting Ability to manage changing priorities. Working knowledge of Windows 10, Mac OSX, iOS, and Android Ability to Work in a Team Ability to Prioritize Projects Experience managing users in Windows AD and Google G-Suite is an asset.
