We are looking for a highly talented and motivated Service Technician with excellent customer service skills and stills in multiple fields. The Service Technician will perform tasks related to the general maintenance of the assigned apartment homes or buildings and will perform minor repair work, maintain, install, and repair appliances and equipment.

**What You Will Be Doing**:

- Appliance installation and repair (washing machine, dryer, refrigerator, microwave, oven, dishwasher, etc.)
- Renovations, repairs, tenant improvements
- Some minor plumbing
- Commercial flooring installation
- Millwork/ carpentry repairs and installation
- Light demolition work
- Drywall repairs and installation
- Interior and exterior painting
- Variety of other trades and related work (i.e., carpet tile, VCT, light framing, etc.)
- Interact with residents in a professional manner.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members and other departments.

**QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS**:
**Education**:
Post-secondary education or trade certification considered an asset.

**Required Training/Experience**:
Minimum 3 years experience working in construction or building maintenance. Two years appliance repair experience preferred.

**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Excellent customer service.
- Highly organized and detailed oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic computer skills.
