**STEM Assistants at RoboThink Northwest Toronto**

RoboThink is looking for energetic, patient, and friendly STEM Assistants to lead kids in having fun while learning

We are a STEM edu-tainment company that introduces children in grades K-8 to robotics and coding concepts through the use of our patented robot building blocks and easy-to-use coding software. We’re looking to expand our company with smart, creative, and fun instructors to join our team

**Qualifications**:

- Energetic and passionate about working with/educating K-8 children
- Will be available for after-school enrichment programs, weekend programs and/or Summer Camps
- Willing to learn how to use technology and robotics and be proficient at it
- Prior experience working with children, or coaching sports or recreation programs in a learning environment is preferred
- Must have a car and be able to travel, running classes are located in Burlington, Caledon, Brampton, King City, Vaughan, Richmond Hill and/or Aurora
- Certifications in CPR-C/AED and/or High Five (Principles of Healthy Child Development) an asset
- Familiarize oneself with RoboThink hardware and course materials, carefully study the teacher training manual, classroom procedures, and policies
- Assist STEM Teacher with using RoboThink materials to conduct classes - pay attention to individual students to help them with the learning process and organize fun games in class
- Provide feedback and concerns back to RoboThink's management team
- Administrative tasks such as organizing curriculum binders and printouts
- Assist in organizing, clean up and packing away of classroom materials for transport to other locations or back to storage

**Job Types**: Part-Time, Fixed term contract
**Please Note: schedule will vary for each session; hours can range between 2-15 or more/week)**

**Contract length**:At least 2 months (Renewable)

Pay: $16.55-$17.50 per hour
