You have an eye for accuracy and safety, and you may have experience following processes, although it’s not required. You pride yourself on being hands-on and a team player. You immerse yourself in what you do, able to adapt quickly and deliver accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Through your communication skills and with your training, you’ll build professional, long-standing relationships with staff, customers and vendors.

What you will do:_**
- Learn. You will participate in training and coaching to build your product and industry knowledge and grow your sales skills.
- Provide excellent customer service. You will respond to customer telephone inquiries quickly and professionally, demonstrating in-depth product and pricing knowledge.
- You will: Coordinate orders, ensure accuracy of both the products, the correct pricing, and confirm delivery time.
- Research out-of-stock and special requests by reaching out to suppliers and other branches for pricing, lead times, freight costs, minimum-buy requirements, and manage special orders.
- Utilize product knowledge to recommend alternatives to customers if their initial request cannot be met, upselling whenever possible.
- Develop positive relationships with customers, work to resolve any issues, avoid conflict, and escalate when needed.
- Assist counter with customer orders, pickups, and returns as required.
- Participate in yearly inventory count and Saturday counter shifts as scheduled
- Increase sales. You will reach out to customers by phone to provide details on specials or products that may be of interest. You will share leads for upselling or cross-selling with the Sales and Growth team, collaborating to accomplish department and company objectives.

The interpersonal skills. You are extremely comfortable taking in-coming and making outgoing telephone calls. You are deeply committed to customer service, can build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The flexibility. You can work evenings and Saturdays on occasion.
