Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative is essentially a "quarterback" for the customer experience with our company. This role ensures that the customer's buying journey with 49 North is exceptional, from initial contact to delivery or response. You are the front line for much of the customer's interactions with the company, and an integral conduit between sales and operations and the customer. You are the voice on the phone that the customers get to know and trust, and rely on regularly. **Role Accountabilities** - **Customer Engagement** - Deliver solutions-focused service by managing inbound and outbound customer interactions, building strong relationships, and uncovering opportunities to support business growth - **Order Management** - Accurately enter and manage all customer orders, working closely with Operations to ensure smooth, timely, and correct fulfillment (Spire ERP considered an asset) - **Customer Development** - Leverage customer interactions to identify ways to add value, including recommending relevant products, services, or solutions that support customer goals - **Sales Enablement** - Support the sales cycle by preparing quotes, assisting with proposals, and following up on outstanding opportunities to help move deals forward - **CRM Excellence** - Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer data in the CRM to support visibility, pipeline accuracy, and proactive account management (Dynamics 365 considered an asset) - **Product & Technical Coordination** - Collaborate with internal teams to provide fast, accurate responses to technical or product-related inquiries - **Team & Operational Support** - Contribute to team initiatives and perform other responsibilities that drive customer satisfaction and support sales and service excellence - **Other duties** and responsibilities as assigned **Knowledge Skills & Experience** - A minimum of 3 years as a proven customer service representative or inside sales representative in the industrial sector, heavy equipment, chemicals, commercial fleet, agriculture, or similar Business to Business environment is desired - Accuracy and strict attention to detail are critical - Advanced Microsoft Office skills, CRM Skills (Microsoft Dynamics or other) - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage own workload - Proven ability to work independently with mínimal supervision - Ability to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines - Be a team player who is willing to adapt to the changing priorities of the business - Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service both internally and externally **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Company events - Dental care - Disability insurance - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site parking - Paid time off - RRSP match - Store discount Schedule: - Monday to Friday **Experience**: - Customer Service: 3 years (required) **Language**: - English (required) Work Location: In person
