Hastings Lake Animal Hospital is a privately owned community oriented practise. We see primarily small animals but do see some farm pets like chickens and goats. You do not require any experience with these species - you can opt out of seeing them or enjoy learning about them from us.
No on call or evenings. Rotating half day Saturdays. We are closed all long weekends and between Christmas and News Years to enjoy time with our families.
Our practise is located in a bright, sunny and spacious converted farm house set on twenty serene acres in Strathcona County just 25 mins from Sherwood Park, 35 mins from Edmonton or ten minutes from Tofield. Just last week we had a porcupine stroll past our main floor exam room window while we were doing an annual exam for a cat It's a lovely peaceful setting to work in with lots of room to run your dogs at lunch or go for a walk.
Clinic has digital radiography (dental & regular), full IDEXX inhouse lab, InVue Digital Cytology, Clarius ultrasound and EzyVet/Vello. We have a team of seven experienced RVTs, two VMA's and two university students. We are a small team with a lot of heart and passion for what we do.
We are looking for a veterinarian who shares our passion for caring for the pets in our community and serving our clients.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Up to $125,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
