The Production Worker/General Labourer will perform tasks involving physical labour in our manufacturing plant and will be required to operate a variety of hand and power tools. Responsibilities will include the assembly of products using bolts, screws, clips, caulking guns, and assorted fasteners. The General Labourer will be responsible for the efficient production of products according to established procedures, following all safety protocols and workplace policies.

**Job Details**:

- Location: 400 McNeilly Road, Stoney Creek, ON.
- Hourly Wage: $19-21 depending on experience.
- Schedule: 44 Hour work week (7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Fridays)
- Benefits: Company-paid group medical, dental, and insurance after probation.

PLEASE NOTE WE ARE NOT ON A BUS ROUTE.

**Job Duties**:

- Bolt, screw, clip, caulk, or otherwise fasten parts and components together using hand and power tools and equipment.
- Position and install parts, subassemblies, and accessories using hand and power tools and other aids like overhead hoists.
- Mark, record, and track productivity numbers.
- Record and report any defects.
- Clean and perform preparation of the work area.
- Load, and unload materials.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Follow current safety standards and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Experience or ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools.
- Ability to bend, crouch and lift items as required, up to 50lbs.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to read and write.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team completing assigned activities according to the production schedule.
- Commitment to product quality and safety.
- Requires good manual dexterity. (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination.
- Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Respect diversity - treat others with respect.
- Willing to work overtime as required, either early or late, some weekends.
- Safety footwear.

**Working Conditions**:

- This position may be exposed to elements such as intermittent noise, dust, heat, and cold.
- Use of Personal Protection Equipment (e.g. seatbelt, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed safety shoes/boots, hearing protection, etc.)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and complete repetitive tasks.
- Regularly works near moving mechanical equipment.
