**Job description**
- Assist with training and performance manage (6-15) employees.
- Ensure housekeeping policies and procedures for all aspects of the housekeeping department
- Track and communicate all supply ordering needs to the Assistant General Manager.
- Assist with the development of department procedures and productivity standards
- Control departmental costs and establish accurate inventory records on a monthly basis
- Be accountable for the development and implementation of a thorough inspection process for both rooms and public areas
- Work closely with all other departments to ensure the property is well maintained with proper preventive maintenance schedules in place
- Conduct pre-shift meetings, support the Housekeeping Staff in completing room assignments based on the needs of the guest and budgetary goals
- Follow all job safety policies and report any accidents and/or hazards.
- Recruit, train, discipline and guide all employees.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of three (3) years of experience within the hotel industry in a housekeeping level position
- Leadership experience is required
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills complemented by team building and motivating abilities
- Self-motivated, honest, creative, and capable of working in a team environment
- Results oriented with the ability to adapt to the challenges of a continually evolving workforce, while remaining flexible and working under pressure
- Strong organizational and computer skills with experience utilizing MS Office programs
- Must be able to work any day of the week including weekends and holidays.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
