**Scope of position**:Reporting to the Director, Crew Management Systems, the Manager, Crew Management Systems works closely with Crew Towers and stakeholders, and drives the documentation of business requirements and the process mapping for the Crew Management Systems. Working with their specific IT counterparts, the Manager, Crew Management Systems focuses on the whole process from start to end, and evaluates, measures, monitors, and controls business processes to ensure that business process solution achieves the project's strategic goals.

**Key Function & Accountabilities**:

- Drive the modernization of Crew Management Systems by guiding the Crew team in mapping out current and future business requirements, and designing smart processes for each of, and between the various automated systems.
- Lead cross-branch workshops to map out inter dependencies between Crew Management Systems and other stakeholders.
- Work with various departments and vendors to best assess and offer innovative solutions that will ensure an improved, more flexible process that will serve Air Canada's needs and goals
- Identify gaps, streamline solutions, and find efficiencies by analyzing the feasibility of the current business process related to productivity, quality, costs, demand, and time management.
- Work with various business areas and IT to ensure capabilities, business requirements and change management planning meets long term goals.
- Deliver expertise and knowledge to achieve project objectives that are focused on generating innovative solutions to business problems.
- Manage the development of Wireframes for Crew Mobility products to ensure all business requirements are understood and communicated.
Transition knowledge to steady state business support team post implementation

**Qualifications**
- University degree and a minimum of at least two years' experience in business process management in a related industry.
- Project Management (PMP certification preferred) and Information Systems background.
- Experience in process mapping.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional planning and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills when dealing with complex industry concepts.
- Experience with Jira, Visio, Microsoft Project.
- Must be receptive to flexible work hours and travel expectations.
- Self-starter who can work with mínimal direction and supervision.
- Knowledge of transportation industry is an asset.
