This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Reporting to the Coordinator, the **Picker / Packer **position is a permanent, full-time position. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that merchandise is moved, counted, picked, packed, received, and put away in a neat and timely manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The incumbent is a highly organized individual with the ability to multi-task with no, or mínimal supervision. She/he has a strong sense of responsibility and is highly motivated to acquire new skills, manage diverse and complex administrative, communications and organizational tasks with speed, accuracy, discretion, and clarity, while always maintaining a focus on Olsen Europe’s operating philosophies.
- Physically pick any necessary pick tickets, accurately count, sign and record on the appropriate warehouse documents as provided.
- Check off items / lines on the pick tickets, indicating items that are not available on the pick ticket. Sign and date.
- Check off items / lines on the packing lists, cross out and indicate quantities different than picked on the packing list.
- Communicate all picking errors to the coordinator.
- Physically receive stock, validate, sign and confirm delivered quantities on the packing slip and place in designated area, i.e. storage carts, wholesale bin boxes, retail store boxes, stock market warehouse, etc.
- Assist in validating inventory levels in an accurate manner through physical inventory counts using the appropriate forms to complete the counts, as provided by the coordinator.
- Physically prepare shipments for the Shipping Coordinator to be shipped to customers. This includes proper skid preparation, suitable boxes, and the correct shipping information on the box labels.
- Ensure all documentation is complete and assist with any necessary filing.
- Ensure merchandise is tagged / ticketed appropriately for shipping & receiving purposes.
- Ensure all merchandise has been picked and ready for shipment to meet required deadlines.
- Observe and adhere to all company policies and procedures as well as Health & Safety memorandums and regulations.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as required. Other duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES, TRAITS) AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High School O.S.S.D. or equivalent.
- Work experience in warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Interpersonal and communication skills - verbal and written.
- Team player, with an ability to work independently.
- Good judgment.
- Demonstrated capacity to work with significant independence and yet keep others well informed.
- Demonstrated success in a multi-tasking, deadline-oriented, environment with the ability to prioritize tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
- Good organizational and planning skills.
- Drive to excel and succeed.
- Must be able to lift 20-40 LBS

**Salary**: $15.50 per hour
