The primary role of the Driver is to load, transport, and deliver goods to customers, branches, or other sites via truck, car, van, or other delivery vehicle.

**Reports to**: Branch Manager

**Position Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Inspect the delivery vehicle prior to loading, reporting any concerns to the Branch Manager
- Load, transport, and deliver products to the customers - both rural and urban - in a safe and timely manner
- Review orders before loading and after delivery, ensuring that the order matches the packing slip/invoice
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and bringing any concerns or complaints from the customer back to the Branch Manager
- Adhere to the assigned routes and schedules
- Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
- Prepare reports and other documents related to the deliveries
- Ensure the safe handling of all products by identifying any associated hazards
- Wear the appropriate personal protective equipment as required (i.e. steel toe boots, high visibility vest)
- Collect customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Ensure all products being delivered remain intact during transport and delivery
- Perform work tasks in a safe manner in accordance with Company policies and procedures
- Use time in effective and productive manner
- Ensure delivery vehicles are cleaned and washed regularly
- Provide additional support to the Branch team
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Other duties as assigned

**Knowledge and Skill Requirements**
- Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with Company image policy
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Proficient in both written and verbal communication
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to walk, drive, lift and carry heavy items repetitively and for extended periods
- Experience in a shipping/receiving environment and/or delivery role preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver’s license, with clean driving record

**Working Conditions**
- Interacts with employees, various management levels and the public at large
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Repetitive work
- Environment can be noisy at times

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
