Practice Enablement Specialist

We are expanding our team that specializes in serving bookkeeping and accounting practices across Canada. Sage is a market leader in Accounting and Payroll software and provides a unique and highly compelling suite of solutions for bookkeeping and accounting practices. The Practice Enablement Specialist is key to ensuring practices using Sage solutions for themselves or to serve their clients maximize value and achieve a successful implementation swiftly. We are looking for a high energy, proactive Practice Enablement Specialist. The Practice Enablement Specialist is responsible for working closely with their sales colleagues to develop relationships with bookkeeping and accounting practices. Their job is to work closely with practices to ensure they are satisfied with the services they are considering or have purchased and to support them to fully utilize their products for their firm internally or their end-user clients. This will be achieved through a structured multi-channel contact strategy coupled with a Practice Success Program with the goal of maximizing the value of products and services selected. This will be driven by a consultative approach based on the practices needs and aspirations for their firm.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- Engage through outbound calls to onboard bookkeeping and accounting practices to increase retention and adoption of their solutions for their internal needs or for their end-user clients.
- Prepare and present virtual product demos tailored to a practice, or their clients’ needs during pre-sale or post-sale stage.
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key stakeholders and executive sponsors in bookkeeping and accounting practices.
- Develop an expert level understanding of key Sage products and leverage it to provide relevant adoption and technical recommendations on solutions and enhancements customized to the practices business needs.
- Work with bookkeepers and accountants to ensure that they gain the full value of their Sage solutions by defining the desired business outcomes and build a Practice Success Plan with the appropriately identified objectives, stakeholders, milestones, risks, and metrics needed to achieve them.
- Be accountable for uncovering unique value at the pre or post sales stage and drive value and interest in practice for expansion or growth.
- Serve as the practice advocate to ensure that actionable feedback is passed to the internal teams that need to be taken to help make our practices and their customers successful e.g., proposition, product, service, sales, etc.
- Be proactive to generate ideas driving innovation that will ultimately increase practice and customer engagement, revenue, and improve customer satisfaction.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in customer success, pre/post sales and/or customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience promoting value through customer experience while maintaining high standards of customer service and delivering on KPls.
- Strong ability to uncover unique value at the pre or post sales stage and drive value and interest in practice for expansion or growth.
- Enthusiastic and caring about clients' needs, wants, and challenges and willing to go above and beyond to empower businesses/practices for success.
- Exceptional ability to communicate and foster positive relationships.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a high degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Technical skills required, as they relate for the use of the products.
Preferred:
- Business or Accounting Degree; CPA Designation preferred.
- Fluent in speaking and writing French preferred.
- Experience working with accounting practices.
