***Manufacturing Supervisor
Under the direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, this position will be responsible for co-ordinating the operation of the Press Room and its equipment in accordance with all Dairy procedures, safety and health regulations to provide superior work output. This position has a varying start time and shift hours vary in order to meet the changing requirements of the production schedule.
**JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Operate, plan and control milk flow to various presses as required.
- Learn bag and bar washing equipment and procedures, as per SOP.
- Hang clean bags in a timely manner.
- Run the various equipment that cleans, washes and sanitizes walkways, machine parts, tooling and equipment
- Assist in set up or tear down of machines as required.
- Understand the milk/cheese flow procedure and its requirements and limitations.
- Be responsible for the cleaning up of equipment in preparation for sanitation at the end of day.
- Communicate effectively with Supervisors, Lead Hands and other employees.
- Maintain good communication between all team members.
- Work in an efficient, timely, safe and productive manner at all times.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities including training of others.
- Any other duties required.
**JOB SPECIFICATIONS**
- Physical fitness, allowing you to be able to shake cheese from bags.
- Good mathematical skills and logic.
- Flexibility of hours when necessary.
- Work on statutory holidays and/or weekends as required.
- Good team player.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Safe handling of chemicals and proper use of PPE.
- Must have good attendance,
- Attention to detail.
- Must be able to follow SOP, GMP and complete forms accurately.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Must have a good and positive attitude towards change and other employees.
- Must have mechanical aptitude.
