**What will you be doing?**

As a **Music and Movement Instructor**, you will ensure that all children are engaged, motivated and having fun while laying the groundwork for them to explore the world of music. Responsibilities include:

- Developing a music curriculum and preparing lessons plans.
- Teaching fundamentals of music: tempo, rhythm, pitch, etc. through various methods and activities.
- Communicating with diverse groups of children and other staff.
- Engaging, encouraging, and motivating children to reach their goals.
- Conducting group lessons for children aged 18 months - 4 years.
- All other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- 1 year experience teaching children ages 18 months - 4 years
- Experience in music education an asset
- Must meet province requirements for childcare employment
- Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR
- Current immunization and health assessment as per the local Minister of Health Requirements
