**Job description**

Distribution Centre Worker Job Responsibilities:

- Completes shipments by processing and loading orders.
- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
- Completes deliveries by driving truck or van to and from vendors.
- Enforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders.
- Receive delivery trucks and process new inventory.
- Provides quality service by following organization standards.
- Tag, label, and work to add value merchandise.
- Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations clean.
- Promotes clean receiving/shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Completes reports by entering required information.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

The Petland Distribution Centre operates Monday to Friday with 40 hour work shifts and competitive wages. Full time employees qualify for our comprehensive benefits package and employee discounts on retail product.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Forklift experience is an asset
