As an Enforcement Services Clerk, you'll support inspection and enforcement operations by managing data, compiling reports, and responding to public inquiries. **About the job**: As an Enforcement Services Clerk, you'll be part of a team that helps keep Ontario's roads safe and commercial transportation accountable. You'll provide administrative support to managers and enforcement staff, helping with everything from preparing meeting materials to managing legal documents and financial reports.
In this role, you'll:
- Organize and prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and correspondence
- Maintain accurate data and compile reports for enforcement and financial activities
- Help prepare budgets and track payroll and expenses
- Support the development of annual enforcement work plans
- Handle court-related documents like summonses, disclosures, and subpoenas
- Respond to public and industry inquiries by phone and in person
- Compile and submit enforcement data through reports, briefing notes, and correspondence
You'll work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and strong communication skills are key.
Occasional travel within the region may be required.
**What you bring to the team**:
**Administrative and Financial Skills**: You have:
- Strong administrative skills, including preparing meeting agendas, minutes, and briefing notes
- Experience handling invoices, tracking records, and ordering office supplies
- Ability to gather and evaluate financial and statistical information to support budgeting and cost analysis
**Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills**: You can:
- Use your analytical thinking to review and prepare financial and enforcement-related information
- Manage a high-volume workload while maintaining accuracy
**Customer Service and Communication Skills**: You have:
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
- Good judgment and tact when working with the public and staff, especially in sensitive situations
- Experience preparing reports and correspondence
**Technical and Legislative Knowledge**: You can:
- Understand court administration processes and related documentation
**Computer and Digital Skills**: You are:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, OneNote, and Teams
- Comfortable using databases and digital tools to research, track, and manage data
