Cashier/barista

Edible Matters currently has openings for a barista/cashier position.

Edible Matters is a community based casual restaurant and pub. Our focus is providing high-quality from scratch food, We are currently seeking a hard working and reliable person to join our team.

The position involves working cash register serving guests, making coffees and cold drinks, assisting servers with bussing, clearing tables and food running.

**Requirements**:

- must be at least 19 years of age
- Available to work days, nights and weekends
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- Must be organized and able to multi-task
- Have reliable transportation
- Must be a team player and capable of working under pressure efficiently and with a great attitude

- Attention to detail.
- Remains calm under pressure.
- Ability to organize and plan.
- Sales ability.
- Excellent verbal communication.
- Ability to maintain sense of urgency and keep momentum.

- Experience is and asset but not a requirement
