Ritorno is an award-winning restaurant in North Oakville that has been embraced and supported by the community.
We have an enthusiastic team in our kitchen and we are looking to add a new team member.
The function of a Garde Manger Chef is to prepare cold appetizers, salads and desserts.
Garde Manager position is a vital part of the culinary team. They work in communication and conjunction with the Chef and Line Chefs.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items using the recipe specifications.
- Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation including convection oven, and refrigeration equipment.
- Follows all recipe specifications for each dish.
- Receives, inspects and puts away deliveries in a timely manner.

- Knife skills
- Organization
- Ability to follow all health and food safety procedures
- Able to communicate effectively with other people
- Positive attitude and take pride in the food they prepare

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
Additional pay:
- Bonus pay
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
**Experience**:
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
