**POSITION**:Housekeeping Aide (Part-Time)

**DEPARTMENT**:Domestic Services

**HOURS OF WORK**:Saturday/Sunday (15 hours per week)

**JOB SUMMARY**:Performs assigned cleaning tasks, including wet/dry mopping of floors, vacuuming, dusting furniture, cleaning rooms, bathrooms, offices, and collecting garbage. Assist in laundry area when required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Secondary School Graduate with cleaning experience preferably in an institutional setting.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment, supplies and materials; moderate lifting when required.
- Ability to work well with others, possessing efficient, clean and well organized work habits.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to remain calm and polite at all times.
- Good written and oral communication in English
- Able to work with minimum or no direct supervision.
- weekends and at times during the week when full time staff are on vacation.

Probationary period - 337.5 hours
