**Job Summary**:
We are looking for an **Animal Health Technician** to join our Toxicology team located in **Laval - **_Sign-On bonus of 2000$_

**How will you have an impact?**

As animal health technician, you will be responsible for the well-being of our laboratory animals. Your contribution will ensure the health of our animals, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.

**Salary**:

- Base salary starting at $22.50/hrs. Opportunity to start at higher level and higher salary with specific research experience.
- Based on performance, salary could increase to $24/hrs in 1 year.
- Weekend ($2.75/hrs) and evening ($2.50/hrs) premium added to your hourly rate
- After 37,5hrs: Overtime paid at time and a half
- Holiday: Paid at double time
- Annual bonus based on performance.
- Bonus of 2,000$ after 6 months.

**Full-Time Schedule**:

- Available to work on variable schedule : Day shift, evening and night availabilities depending on company needs and weekend rotation.

**What will you work on?**

You will be responsible for the **well-being of the animals**. You will ensure that their **environment is clean**, provide their **food and water**, and oversee their **enrichment activities**. You will also follow up on their **clinical signs**, a**dminister medications, take blood samples** and give** injections** while respecting protocols.

Please note that upon being hired, you will have to undergo an annual tuberculosis test at the expense of the company.
