Our client, an award winning design, build and maintenance landscape company, is looking for reliable, hardworking Maintenance & Landscape Team Members to join their team.

Working with our client, you will participate in an efficient and fun project site environment working towards achieving daily and weekly goals. You will work closely with their current foremen, skilled labourers, and project managers to install and maintain high quality, award winning, outdoor spaces through-out Winnipeg and surrounding areas. The ideal staff members will not only be skilled at their craft but enjoy using equipment on site, working with their hands in a physically demanding environment, and participating in a fun, engaging work experience. You will work hard, while having fun, to build some of the most unique, challenging and impressive landscapes in Manitoba.

**Responsibilities**
- Take direction and provide feedback
- Independently solve problems within a team based environment
- Problem solve on a daily basis within all aspects of day to day operations
- Follow all appropriate safety protocols
- Work with various small engine and landscape equipment (skid steer, concrete saw, etc.)
- Read and comprehend site plans written in English
- Routinely work 50 hours a week in various types of weather
- Maintain a clean worksite
- Other skills as required

**Skills & Qualification**
- Experience working in the landscape industry would be considered an asset
- A valid class 5 drivers license with access to reliable transportation
- A class 3 license would be considered an asset
- Ability to work with computers, tablets and smart phones to utilize cloud based software
- Ability to read, write and comprehend job planners and blue prints
- Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities
- Strong work ethic with a “go getter” type attitude
- Organizational skills required to understand project site job progression
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Self-motivated attitude to drive worksite efficiency
- Ability to follow proper safety protocols
- Math required to set grades, calculate slop, quantify materials, estimate materials
