**Position Summary**

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Equipment Repair Technician to join our team. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of equipment to ensure optimal operation and mínimal downtime. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, a solid understanding of electro-mechanical systems, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

**Job Duties**
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety checks on machinery and tools.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance performed.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Identify parts and materials needed for repairs and coordinate with the purchasing department.
- Ensure all repairs are completed according to safety and quality standards.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for improving equipment performance.
- Respond to emergency repair calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop and tools.
- Ensure compliance with all company procedures for various job functions.
- Organize all work and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and perform appropriate duties for same.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
- Proven experience as a repair technician or in a similar maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Advanced computer skills for logging repairs and using maintenance software, as well as logging into and troubleshooting computerized equipment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.) and work in physically demanding environments

**Working Conditions**
- May require evening, weekend, or on-call hours depending on business needs.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

**Physical Requirements**
- Standing and walking for long periods of time
- Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
- The ability to respond quickly to sounds
- The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in cramped spaces
- The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
- The ability to safely climb stairs while carrying 20-40 pounds

**Application Process**:
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
